Through debate and public speaking, this program aims to equip students with effective communication and teamwork skills. Our curriculum is designed to develop expressive and competent global citizens in a dynamic learning environment. Students will acquire well-rounded skills and have opportunities to apply them in public settings.

In this course, students will learn that communication is a two-way process in which the listener evaluates the speaker’s effectiveness. They will enhance their abilities in listening, organizing ideas, adapting to audiences, and delivering oral presentations.

All speeches generally serve one of three purposes: to inform, to persuade, or to entertain. Depending on their ultimate goal, students will begin by selecting one of these general purposes and then choosing an appropriate speech structure that aligns with it.
